Victoria Police Legacy is the police charity partner for remembrance for The Police Association (TPAV) and I have seen their work up close and personal since I started in this role. Just today, I attended the funeral of an officer I personally worked with on the frontline in Victoria Police.  She was a great cop, but also a mum with three kids.    

As the CEO of TPAV, visiting the families of fallen members in the aftermath of tragedy is never easy, but knowing that an organisation like Victoria Police Legacy exists to help them provides me and my colleagues with such reassurance. Most importantly, it provides the partners and children of fallen officers with friendship and material support that all of us want for our loved ones. We always say we will remember always, and Victoria Police Legacy is one of the ways we do just that.

 I’ll be Running for Blue, in the name of fallen police, to raise money for Police Legacy every day in May, and I am hoping you might consider doing so also. 

 If you can’t, please consider a donation, it will help the families of our fallen police officers who we must never forget.
